Refund Policy

1. Overview
AppShots AI operates on a credit-based system. Because the Service consumes third-party AI resources (OpenAI, Google Gemini, Replicate) on each generation, credits are consumed immediately and irreversibly upon use.
2. Refund Eligibility
We offer refunds or credit compensation in the following cases:
- Failed generations — if a generation fails due to a Service error (not an AI provider timeout or content policy rejection), the credits will be automatically refunded to your balance.
- Duplicate charges — if you are charged twice for the same purchase, contact us for a full refund of the duplicate.
- Service unavailability — if the Service was down for an extended period after your purchase and you were unable to use your credits, you may request a refund within 7 days.
3. Non-Refundable Cases
- Credits that have been successfully used for generation (even if you are unsatisfied with the AI output quality).
- Generations rejected by AI providers due to content policy violations.
- Unused credits after 12 months from the date of purchase.
- Dissatisfaction with AI-generated results — since outputs are produced by third-party AI models, exact results cannot be guaranteed.
4. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, email carshotai@gmail.com with:
- Your account email address.
- The transaction or purchase reference.
- A brief description of the issue.
We will respond within 3 business days.
5. Refund Method
Approved refunds will be processed via the original payment method (Paddle). Processing may take 5–10 business days depending on your financial institution.
